2/5/2010Friday 2/5/10 time 8:10 AM On Thursday we added a few more pictures to the Sidney jail file. They show a few more features of the interior of the old jail. We are also in the process of going over all of the evidence from our Findlay OH investigation. More to come. The group is in the process of adding a page to the website so you can hear some of the evps we have recorded. Hopefully we will have this up and running soon. |

Last night we went to Sidney OH to do a reveal at the Shelby County Historical Museum for the old Shelby County jail. At the beginning of the reveal we were welcomed by the museum’s staff and set up our lap top and got to work. Also at the event were the winners of the haunted raffle hosted by the Shelby County Historical Society. (Sorry Steve, you missed us.) We shared with them 8 E.V.P’s (6 of them were very clear ones). The attendees were shocked at the evidence, because it appeared to be a very quiet case during the actual investigation. In all, it was a great reveal.
We would again like to thank Laura for helping us setting up both investigations. As we said, we would like to come back down to reinvestigate either the museum or jail again.
After leaving Sidney, we went to Findlay OH for another investigation. This investigation was at a private residence at the request of the residents who have been bothered by some unexplainable things. The majority of the investigation was focused in one area of the residence. We set up one camera on a tripod to set for the length of the investigation. Different team members conduct solo investigations throughout the night. using hand held cameras as well digital voice recorders and other electronic devices. Team members each had personal experiences. After reviewing all the recordings and data, we’ll be interested to see if those experiences were captured as evidence. Conclusions and findings to be revealed later. |
01/14/2010Thursday 1/14/10 time 7:25 PM Last night the team had an investigation at a local site that is the subject of many local stories and rumors of paranormal activity. The building was not overly large so a few hours in the evening was just right for this investigation. We got there shortly before dark and met with a staff member who allowed us into the building. After a brief introduction to the building and it's history we were let loose to explore and investigate. We first made our way upstairs. We took a few minutes to scope out the layout and decide where to place a cam-corder on a tri-pod and set the digital recorder. With that equipment set up, the team spent some time taking base readings, taking photos, and doing a little EVP work. Most of the stories we had heard indicated the noises from the upstairs occur while everyone is downstairs, so after a brief time, the team went back downstairs leaving the camera and recorder in place. Once downstairs, the team spread out a little bit and sat in the doorways of different rooms. With more equipment running we sat still for a while just listening and picking up on the different sounds the heat system was making and also adjusting to the shadows created by the various outside lights that were shining in. During an EVP session, some team members tried provoking whatever may be there, but nothing of great consequence happened that was immediately noticed. At various times throughout the evening, different team members heard noises from the upstairs but nothing that was distinguishable to match the stories we had been told. Near the end of our investigation, two team members located a "cold spot" in one of the rooms set up with a display. They requested outloud for the temperture to get colder and specificaly to get down to 57 degrees (the base reading for that room was 65). Slowly the temp came down and stopped but not down to 57. More provoking took place and as soon as one particular team member spoke, the temp dropped 4 degrees all at one time then continued to fall. The temp stopped well below the requested degree. As promised, we left when the temp went below 57 and stopped dropping. All and all the investigation went well. We have some footage, photos, and recordings to go over and maybe we'll catch something unexpected. |
Welcome!Saturday 1/9/10 time 9:52 AM Currently our group is changing. Not only are we changing our website but we are welcoming new members. Look forward to new posts and new pics to come in the future. The appearance of our site will also change (possibly multiple times) throughout the next few weeks. We are currently planning new cases and will blog about those when the time comes. In the meantime, please enjoy the new additions to our site!
